Increasing number of companies in S'pore and overseas, are discounting Malaysian degrees.

I am aware of many being compensated a diploma salary instead. It seems the situation is getting worst.

So much for racial quotas, corruption, and total lack of meritocracy.

So don't be too impressed if those BN ministers, of dubious background, flaunt their "impressive" qualifications.

Either its given with ease by some sub-standard Malaysian Uni or bought from some diploma mills.

I am amazed by the gramatical and gender errors. I am confused - is this a man or a woman? What Uni is this? I would be very doubtful if this is a real Uni or a real PhD.

Ayo!

I hope we can get back the time when English is the instructional media for teaching and learning.

I only have this to say:

"People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

And I'm referring to both the posters here and in LKS's blog.

Anonymous of 10:25 AM says "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

I kindly disagree. If errors are not pointed out, how will they learn?

To me, it is perfectly fine for LKS to point out this issue and to express his honest views, as he sees it.

And I have no problems if other bloggers were to do the same where LKS or his blog is the topic.

If we don't apply critical thinking and logical reasoning with the view of improvement, how can we learn?

ok, I am laughing too.

Even my pupils in Std 4 know that the verb after "to" must be in its original form. It's called a gerund!!!

Send this writer to my class!!!

One more. ".......has born.....". Dead meat! Now, where is the cane?

I think throwing stones is a much easier punishment. This is a university for goodness' sake and they are not and should not be allowed to make such a fundamental mistake like this. What do you think will be the feelings of the students who are studying (even those who graduated) in this university if they read about the this? They should fire those people who are responsible for the university to redeem its credibility (if there's even anything left of it)
